Years went into the planning of the architectural elements, living spaces, and design details of this classic lakehouse. A mix of natural materials and a timeless color palette invites comfort and relaxation at every turn of this earthy Aspen-inspired retreat built in the city. A beautiful blend of natural stones can be found throughout the home to drive further the theme from one environment to another. Every detail, including the shower tile application, was carefully considered.
Exceptional details were woven into the design of this client’s dream home. The finest materials were specified and the build began. Kennon was hands-on throughout the build, including daily project management and site visits, while overseeing the builder and team of trades to achieve perfection.
Throughout the home, 100-year-old reclaimed barn wood was hand torched to give it additional character. In the kitchen, a rare sueded granite was selected for the focal point on the island. The space was created for gathering and conversation while admiring breathtaking sunset lakeside views.
Evenings spent by a roaring fire in the great room. Nature as a backdrop. The custom lighting and beam work soaring high above the grand space that is graced with leather and textured fabrics. A tree specimen made into a custom table anchor the conversation space. Casual, everyday cabin living in a city space brought to life.
